HaaS has a new name: the Hardware Isolation Layer! Long live HIL!

Overall effort for this week is focusing on the HIL paper.

• This will be Kyle’s last week with us before she goes to Lincoln Labs for the summer.

Efforts:

• Network ACLs (Kyle): hoping to finish up by the end of the week. Lots of feedback.
• VPN (Jethro + Ron): Looking for a real HIL env to start testing on. Still having issues on tap device. Will work together to figure things out.
• Validation fix (Ian): Ian has a PR. Jason has reviewed. Will ask Kristi to be a +2
